Travel
The conference will be held at our Edgbaston Campus, in the Hills building, room 1.20 (ground floor), conveniently located close to our very own train station, University station. University station is one or two stops from the city’s central stations (Birmingham New Street, Moor Street and Snow Hill). We’re also very easy to reach by bus from Birmingham city centre.

Accommodation
If you wish to stay in Birmingham overnight,there are a range of low- and mid-budget options nearby (but we haven’t stayed in any of these, so these are untested suggestions only!). All prices as of time of writing.
VenueBirmingham (the University of Birmingham’s own accommodation), very close to the conference venue, £49 per night for a single room.
Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre, 10-15 minutes walk from the conference venue, £43.50 per night for a single room (bed and breakfast).
Hatters’ Hostel, Birmingham, in the city centre (20 minute bus ride or 10 minute train ride to conference venue), from £12.50 per night for a dorm bed or £34 for a single room.
Birmingham Central Backpackers, also in the city centre, from £12.25 per night for a dorm bed, or £26 for a single room.
Harborne Hall Hotel, in Harborne, a suburb near the university, 10 minute bus ride to the conference venue, single room for £24.77 per night .
